3 sharks are killed every second for their fins to make shark fin soup. That is over 100,000,000 sharks a year. It takes them many years to mature and they are vulnerable to overfishing. It will cause devastating effects on the marine ecosystem if sharks became extinct. Marine scientists estimate that 90% of the world's largest fish have disappeared since 1950. Many spicies of sharks are now endangered.

Please talk about this issue with your family and friends to save these magnificent creatures.
